Certification Process Steps
At VIGOROUS, we follow a structured and transparent approach to help you achieve ISO certification. Here’s how the process works:
1. Application Submission
-
Submit your application online or via email.
-
Provide details about your organization, scope, and desired ISO standard.
-
Our team will review your application and contact you to proceed.
2. Document Review
-
Our team will review the organization’s documentation (e.g., quality manual, procedures, policies) to ensure it meets the requirements of the applicable ISO standard.
-
Any gaps or non-conformities are identified and communicated to the organization for correction.
3. Pre-Assessment (Optional)
-
A preliminary audit may be conducted to assess readiness for the formal certification audit.
-
This step is optional but recommended for organizations new to ISO standards.
4. Stage 1 Audit (Documentation Audit)
-
Our audit team will conduct an initial audit to verify the organization’s documentation and readiness for the Stage 2 audit.
-
The audit focuses on the implementation of the management system and its alignment with the ISO standard.
5. Stage 2 Audit (On-Site Audit)
-
A detailed on-site audit is conducted to evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of the management system.
-
Our audit team reviews processes, interviews personnel, and collects evidence to ensure compliance with the ISO standard.
6. Non-Conformity Resolution
-
If any non-conformities are identified by our auditors during the audit, the organization must address and correct them within a specified timeframe.
-
VIGOROUS verifies the corrective actions before proceeding.
7. Certification Decision
-
Based on the audit findings and corrective actions, our certification committee decides to grant, defer, or deny certification.
-
If approved, you will receive your ISO certificate.
8. Surveillance Audits
-
After certification, VIGOROUS conducts periodic surveillance audits (usually annually) to ensure ongoing compliance with the ISO standard.
-
These audits are less extensive than the initial certification audit but are critical for maintaining certification.
9. Recertification Audit
-
After the certification period (typically three years), the organization undergoes a recertification audit to renew its ISO certification.
-
This audit is similar in scope to the initial certification audit.
